A Poem: Bone-White Winter in the Night Sky
Poetry
Dec 18, 2020
The night sky is a burnt brown-black
a coffee stain spilled across the cosmos
as the moon rises and the sun sets
A spill of coffee-rich darkness
permeates the burned-out dying day
the sun smolders behind the hills
and the star stained promises
of the night takes hold
