Amy,

I really appreciate this piece. It’s so open and honest — authentic. Your vulnerability with all of this is inspirational and motivating. I’m at home with my folks during the pandemic, I can relate.

And like you, I haven’t found a good fit for myself in the 9-5 world. Working for myself, writing and blogging, that’s when my full potential really shines. I set and keep a schedule, I get things done and there’s a pride no other job can provide in doing something on your own terms.

My goal after all of this clears up, though, isn’t to get my own place in the traditional sense. I want a skoolie and the open road. Little ugly pug to ride shotgun ha.

Whatever comes though, when you have been tested and found yourself up against what feels like insurmountable odds, when you go through things like that and make it… You know down deep you can survive whatever comes at you. Nothing can replace that.

Props.
