The rain whispers down as we sit on the front porch of the little cabin
the old record player sitting on the table scratches out songs in complimentary whispers
you peek up at me, leaning back on me as we watch a movie on the phone, you smile at the soft sound of the rain, I kiss you and smile back
there is the sound of butterfly wings fluttering in the soft sound of all that rain and our song playing in…
