Douglas,

Holy crap this piece definitely lives up to the term, “thought piece.”

It reminds me of my old days in undergrad. I had a class on metaphysical philosophy at 9 am. I know, who does that to themselves? Ha

Anyway, we explored topics like this every day. Thought experiments. How do we know we’re really here and not somewhere else? How do we know we’re the same person we were yesterday? So on and so on.

These are highly important questions though as they dive into the mysteries you wrote about. Those mysteries, a touch of chaos, they’re the driving force for far more than innovation but human evolution itself. Organic upgrades and enlightenment. Things that technology mirrors but ultimately pales in comparison to.

Great read, got the brain to flexing this morning!
