Good morning Moreno Zugaro ⭐️ thanks for the response, and giving a solid one! Great question too, and small world, I have read your piece before. Loved the line where you commented that we could essentially practice and even get good at sleep. Great thoughts.
As for your question, hmmm, truthfully? For me, I stay consistent. I don’t sleep in, I just keep rolling with it. I know myself and know that if I did, I’d lose track of things and it might spiral. Plus, and this is the really important part, getting up early and doing the things I do at the very beginning of my day is a way of telling the Universe and myself what’s most important (productivity wise), what I want and how bad I want it.
I think that is the real key, figuring out where you’re at in your life, what you want, what you value and how bad you want the things you do — will go after it with everything you have? Only you can answer.
But, we each have our own truths to live, so, I’m not knocking your social times, those are important too. Try and find a compromise maybe, and something I did through my surgery and recovery from that: I got up at the same time (even then) I did as much of my regular routine as my body would let, and then mid-morning or so, I’d take a nap. This way I was keeping the habit, but also balancing my body’s needs too. Just some thoughts on finding a balance and striking effective compromises.
But, for me, it’s all about consistency and chasing after the things you want with all you have. Don’t give up, you got this!
