Great article and some really great questions raised. This piece definitely got me to thinking.

Here’s one thought, you say that significance can be subjective and I agree. But earlier you also said that the mark of real genius is defiance of status quo. So, wouldn’t it follow that real genius is defying society’s typical thoughts about what is and is not significant? Maybe even defies it outright, therefore carving out an entirely new definition for what is and isn’t significant?
