When the moonlight spills across the treetops
dancing just above our head
let’s find each other and cuddle up close
kissing our way to midnight
and the promise of watching moonlight
sway its way into little shy smiles
as I grin your favorite lopsided grin
and let’s keep kissing until we kiss our way to little whispers
and the promise of a new day rising in each other’s eyes
your eyes from watching the Sun and in my eyes as I watch you
becoming the best of both parts of the day
