I love the story you share of your father. It reminds me of conversations I’ve had with my mother, who chose to mostly stay at home to raise me when I was a kid. Who worked odd jobs when the income dad was making wasn’t enough. Who could live a more meaningful life than that?

Meaning and purpose are interwoven in the things we do. We just have to choose to see it. To own it. To live up to it.
