I stood by the bathroom sink, letting it all sink in
One band — I can’t remember who — covered the Beatle’s timeless, Let It Be
And as much as I tried, the tears found their way like sprouting little blossoms
Of pain stained flowers that only the passing of your last living Grandparent can ever grow
